During 24 April - 1 May Anderszewski joins German violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann for a series of recitals in Europe. Together they will tour seven venues in eight days, performing in Heidelberg, Brussels, Munich and a number of cities in Spain.
Zimmermann and Anderszewski are both recipients of the Szymanowski Prize awarded by the Szymanowski Foundation in Poland. Each has given outstanding performances of the composer's music over the years, and Szymanowski's eerie 'Mythes' op 30 forms part of their programme for the tour. Concert-goers can also hear their take on sonatas by Beethoven (including the 'Spring' Sonata) and Janacek.
