Those who couldn't experience Anderszewski's Carnegie Hall recital last December now have a chance. A live recording of the occasion will shortly be released by Virgin Classics.

Whilst capturing the unique atmosphere of Carnegie Hall, the recording augments Anderszewski's discography with another of the Bach partitas (No 2 in C minor), Schumann's Faschingsschwank aus Wien and Janacek's In the Mists. Beethoven's Sonata Op 110 completes the programme.

The New York Times identified the recital as something special, but judge for yourself. Piotr Anderszewski at Carnegie Hall will be released in Europe on 11 May.
