During 9-13 April Anderszewski joins Charles Dutoit and the Philadelphia Orchestra to perform Szymanowski's Symphonie Concertante in Philadelphia and New York.
The New York performance will be at Carnegie Hall which is hosting a Szymanowski mini-fest specially curated by Anderszewski. The series also includes two concerts of chamber music in which Szymanowski's music is linked to the work of late Schumann, Janacek and Bartók (1 & 2 May). For these Anderszewski will be joined by violinist Henning Kraggerud, soprano Iwona Sobotka and the Belcea Quartet.
In London the Wigmore Hall will welcome Anderszewski and friends to perform similar programmes on 5 & 7 May, while later in June Anderszewski puts Szymanowski centre stage again as part of a themed concert series in Lodz, Poland (17-21 June).
