Piotr Anderszewski has rationed his recordings with self-discipline... He brings to the first piano concerto an architectural vision and delicacy of touch that single him out from so many rivals. This disc is another example of the cohesion achieved when the soloist leads the ensemble. The six Bagatelles op 126 are an exemplary bonus.
